Restaurant Les Platanes

this restaurant won't be for everyone. it's a workers restaurant and only opens lunchtime. it's a family restaurant and you can see the pride they have for it. it's clean spacious with tablecloths act. If only transport cafe's were like this in the UK.the food is good home cooking. on the two occasions we went there the main course was steak one day and roast chicken the next. For under 15€ you get a buffet salad type starter. the main meal, cheese, desert, bread and a bottle of local red wine. staff were very friendly and helpful dispute our poor french.would recommend it wholeheartedly. If this is not your cup of tea there are plenty of restaurants in saint emilion who will happily charge...

We had the pleasure of finding this restaurant.Very friendly welcome and we had a super 4 course meal for 14 euros.Buffet starter, plate du jour, cheese, dessert. wine , bread and water included.Staff were very good and we will be back again when we are in the area.

super quality price for this small restaurant, simple but tasteful cuisine nevertheless!!The adorable waitresses. It's been almost 10 years since I've been eating there regularly being a handicraft around.

14€ buffet of admissions/plat/fromage/dessert and coffee with water and wine. Correct meal! except the fries the little more the smile of the boss and his staff!
