On a special occasion, after a first disappointment, we decided to test out the Wagyu again. We had booked a table via a booking service site which offered 30% discount on a la carte dining. When we arrived the restaurant was, as it was a Monday, fairly empty, and we had the choice of seating. We sat in the veranda which, through its big windows allows you a wonderful view over the lake and the harbour. The service was very nice. On ordering we avoided though, as at the first time, the beef. As a starter we ordered the Tempura Moriawase. It was a great pleasure and tasted really good. I’ordered the menu that includes that wagyu beef steak, and other Maki and Sushi items for the rest of my guests. Unfortunately there’s nothing special about the sushi or maki, in fact, there are better quality sushi and maki found in other places at a much competitive prices. However, the Wagyu steak was fine, and this only allowed me to give additional rating point from 2 to 3. Maybe someone else have a different perspective on rating this Joint, but personally I won’t give it another try.
I highly recommend this restaurant! It is classy, with its own parking and right by the lakeside with a gorgeous view of the port and lake. The food is delicious and freshly made with obvious care. The personnel were very polite and always there when we needed them. The price is a bit higher than at average restaurants but definitely worth it! I can't wait to eat there again!
