Restaurante Itxas Etxe S.L.

Good food, but not great. But the price was a total rip-off. I expected it to be expensive based on the market prices in the menu, but it was double what I expected. We were taken there by a local friend of a friend, but only because his first choice was closed. They didn't have the fish we ordered, so they brought out a different one to offer us, without telling us the weight until we had already eaten it! Needless to say, our friend was embarrassed. Best to avoid.

Tourist trap. 80€/kg of fish coming bathing in a butter sauce. We paid 102€ of tasteless fish coming without any side dish. So we asked for fries and salad. Only horrible frozen fries came for 22€75. The ladies are sweet but for 160€ bill I hope for more than a tasteless fish and paper napkin and table clothe. Go for a gastronomic restaurant in San Sebastian for that price…

Nice fresh and good quality seafood, and the staff were very kind and attentive, but the prices are quite excessive. Same with the wine. All together a nice experience... chipirones pictured below..

Run away if you are a tourist! A bill for a 1.5kg grilled sea bass (75 euros) when we barely had enough to eat for two! Served with half a potatoe. A bad feeling of misleading...

Good place to hace lunch. We did not have the menu but two nice bocadillos. 7'5 each but they are big and tasty. Waiters nice and helpful. Thanks!!!
