We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and the restaurant was completely empty. The waiter was friendly and polite. There is not an awful lot of choice on the menu, to be honest, but we kept it simple. The food took forever to come, and considering the restaurant was empty, it was unacceptable. When the food came, we didn't know if we should laugh or cry. The portion was ridiculously small. A platter for 2 people was £40 which is a relatively normal price, but this was barely enough for one person, let alone two. Absolute rip off!! Portions are tiny, we had a mixed for 2, 2 main courses and some other stuff for a party of 4. I must admit what they consider portion for 2 is actually for one. Way overpriced! It's more like French cuisine than a Turkish restaurant when it comes to price. Big plates and tiny portions. Chips were literally diving in salt. Salad was awful. Rice was overcooked. Meat was just ok. Service is exceptionally slow. We just paid the bill left and never going back! In case the owner wants to check the cc tv we were the party of 4, the only table occupied in the whole restaurant on 03.09.23.
