Seki Noodle House - Reservar uma mesa

I could've went to any other Japanese place closer to where I'm staying, but this place had great reviews so I drove down to Lakeshore to check it out. I'm not sure if it's a language barrier, or they were short-staffed for a Sunday, but I told the staffer at the cash that I wanted to sit out front on the patio, since there was one table with shade, and I got an "Ok", but then no server came out. Luckily I took a menu with me and then I went inside to order. Staff mistook me for wanting take out, without clearly asking my intention, so they ended up bringing out my order in a styrofoam container as I sat outside. Coming from Alberta, I was really hoping for a higher bar of sushi in BC. But this was pretty average and much better can be had even in Alberta. Had the Chirashi, and it didn't have much to justify the cost. Very very basic selection.

my sashimi was still frozen. the service was good. the salate was pale. that were good and good. the one sushi roll we ordered was okay, but nothing special. the environment was clean.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We arrive close to closing and they made every effort to get our takeout prepared. Quite tasty.

nothing special about sushi here were the aromen quite bland and there were no plenty of options. they all fell apart
