unfortunately we were too late for breakfast and too early for lunch! but we decided to have coffee and wait for lunch. Sunday roast was a selection of bark meat, truthahn or gammon with a good selection of vegetables. very inexpensive and decent size components.

a standard chain-pub menu, but eating and service was good. what I really appreciated was that she came and our order taken from the table, this will be a bit of a rarity in chains pubs in these days with most orders on the bar. I would go back.

Called in for breakfast before travelling to Cornwell. Very satisfied with breakfast. Full English and continental breakfast. Staff very good but it would be advisable to arrive early as it can get very busy at times.

I met some friends here. we all had a very nice lunch. my vegan option of the spicy lentil hotpot was beautiful and would definitely go again just to have this! the vegan chocolate torte was also great. well done.

great place for delicious, good food. staff all very friendly, simple parking. could not have been so happy about it if a friend recommended a trip.
