Suminato Japanese - Reservar uma mesa

Cosy Japanese restaurant. We ordered a lot of food cos we were hungry. The sushi rolls are good, sashimi hmm … it’s so so . Chicken karage was a tad bit disappointing. But I would say the must have , grilled scallops, misoyaki salmon roll, suminato roll, salmon creme croquette. The tempura cos have been less oily, it was alright . Overall we enjoyed, and according to my family who lives here, this was one of the better Japanese restaurant.

Very good modern Japanese food served here. Friendly quick service. We had the larger of the two banquets which was good value for the amount of dishes served. Very clean toilets here. Great place for casual dining or large groups. Would go back again.

Actually, eating here was delicious, we had the chefs recommended banquet course and it was good worth it, I never have a photo of the chicken karaage, but it was delicious! will definitely be here again!

Suminato is always my first preference when looking for Japanese cuisine in Hobart. Staffs are friendly and welcoming, dishes are meticulously prepared and served, you will never be disappointed!

Great quality food, service was quick and professional. Well laid out restaurant. Menu is very good. Enjoyed all my favourite Japanese food and drink Kingfish Sashimi, Gyoza, Sake and Ume.
