Suminato Japanese - Reservar mesa

On our first visit to Suminato, we arrived without a reservation, but the staff quickly found us a spot at the pass. From the very beginning, they were incredibly attentive. The food was fantastic, and the wine selection was impressive. I later arranged a group dinner for my team, and we went last night. This time, we enjoyed one of the private dining rooms. Once again, the service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Some members of the group had never tried Japanese cuisine before and mentioned they would definitely return to Suminato. A big thank you to Jay for being so attentive and for staying after closing to take care of us. We look forward to returning soon!

Lovely atmosphere, great service. We ordered small plates to share. Highlights were grilled scallops and chef's sashimi plate, plus black sesame panacotta for dessert. All dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. There's an extensive drinks menu, including a range of sakes at different price points, and umeshus. Staff were genuinely interested in providing quality service meals, asking for feedback on our favourite dishes, and for any suggested improvements. Suminato is a welcome addition to Sandy Bay.

I went and had dinner with my two boys who can be fussy at the best of times and they both ate their food enthusiastically (I tried theirs and I agree the flavours were superb! . They had the Teriyaki chicken and Yakitori don. I ordered the Sashimi chef's selection and it was perfect. Presentation of all the meals was outstanding, and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended.

Authentic yakitori, friendly service and a great atmosphere. I had a wonderful experience and the restaurant is also kid friendly, providing us with a high chair and they were very lovely towards my child. The grilled eggplant with miso is a must have! Reserve uma mesa agora

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is incredible, the decor is lovely, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu offers a wide selection, and the lunch set included a delightful variety of delicious dishes.

I had the beef and pork kushiyaki, chicken karaage, Suminato roll, and grilled eel roll, and everything was fantastic. The presentation was beautiful as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great food. Beef Tataki with Ponzu was excellent. Best Chicken Karaagi we’ve had and overall well worth the visit. Will definitely be going back again and again.
