I should start this with if you are a cheese fan, this is your place. We ordered via Doordash so temp is always an issue. No biggie, we were at home so I turned on the oven to bring everything up to bubbly. Good Pizza! If you like St. Louis Style with Provel, this should do you right. Gooey and veggies cooked crisp. House Salad really if you like a touch of lettuce with your cheese, this is your jam. Croutons were good too like the leftover bread deep fried kind. House dressing very tasty. Meatballs good flavor. Always on the hunt for good Chicago style pizza, we decided to give this one a try. It was a winner! Located on the north end of historic Main Street, this place doesn't go overboard on ambiance, but they put everything into the food. Fresh zucchini sticks were solid. Marinara was not sweet and had great flavor. We also ordered the Chicago Style pizza. The flavor was perfect! Sausage was excellent, real mozzarella cheese, no provel thankfully and a tasty buttery crust. This pizza had all the taste of a Chicago pie, but the crust was not as thick or airy. This pizza review is simply amazing. My wife and I recently moved to the St. Louis area and are currently staying in a hotel. We have been ordering takeout from various places, but we have visited this restaurant twice for their pizzas and they have been consistently great. I prefer the New York style crust, while my wife enjoys the thin crust. The New York style crust is crispy on the bottom and chewy overall, while the thin crust holds together well and does not fall apart. The ingredients are fresh and delicious every time. This place isn't much to look at--decor is dated and furnishings are worn--but it serves good pizza. Other American menu items are available like wings, as are several salads. Pizzas options range from thin crust St. Louis style to hand tossed New York pies to Chicago deep dish pans. We ordered the hand tossed. The wait time became noticeable to the point the server addressed it with us. Eventually, the pizza arrived. A tasty bread dough and sweet tomato sauce were the foundation of a well done meat pizza. We love the pizza here, but it is not worth the forever wait. I ordered the pizza at 5:10pm. I was told it would be ready at 6:15. At 6:15 I was told 10 minutes at 6:30 I was told 6 minutes. I finally walked out the door at 6:55. Nearly 2 hours for an order of 2 pizzas and salad. They did give me a $25 gift certificate, but not sure I will use it based on the wait I had this time. Two hours is a long time to wait. If I knew a head of time I probably would have still ordered but would have waited at home longer. I understand the employee shortage every where, just be more transparent with the time it will take. The pizza was delicious.

On the quaint Main Street of St. Charles, Missouri, this pizza joint has: an aging dining room, a fountain by the door, a restroom that could use a serious scrub down, friendly, prompt service and some amazingly cheesy Chicago style pies. Topped with perfectly savory, salty, chunky sauce, I enjoyed a small, thick pizza. Deliciously doughy, it hit the mark. The outdoor patio, in front, is perfect for people watching on warm summer days.

We ordered a Chicago style pizza for delivery. You always hear that the crust is the true secret to a good pizza and I would say that the crust on this pizza was one of the best I've had considering my age, that's quite a feat! We were also impressed that when it arrived, it was still warm. Thanks grub hub for that, but also to the restaurant for getting it to them right out of the oven. We will definitely order from Talayna's again!

The pizza was excellent. I enjoyed the different options of crust and types of pizza available. I decided to try the veggie St. Louis Style and the New York style cheese pizza. Been here an hour waiting on a call in ridiculous. I love their salad but I won't be back. I can hear the cook yelling in the back ground shame I ordered a lot during the shut down I won't be back
