Unfortunately disappointed today...the kitchen was excellent, but unfortunately the service was not! When we stood in front of the door at 5:50 p.m., the door wasn't even held open for us at 6 p.m. (when the restaurant opened). Just put the key in, turn it and run away, even though we had been seen for a long time. The service was unmotivated and very slow. Unfortunately, in the catering industry, you just have to cover up bad days if you're not feeling well. What a shame for such a good restaurant!

very nice experience with lunch in this beautiful restaurant. from the freendly smiling and very velcomming staff to eating, which is far above the standart of eating in the Swiss. I can only redefine this place! I'll be back in a definitiw!

Do not take any menu! The salad and Miso soups are a scam! The salad from the menu is simply disgusting. Menus are very expensive and Sushis have nothing special. I do not recommend this restaurant.

tanaka is an excellent Japanese sushi and teppanyaki restaurant on the outskirts of bern. the set menus are worth the cost.
