Tashan: Divine Indian Dining

tashan is the first truly decent Indian restaurant in this opposite of Caldwell/Verona. Finally, no buffet for dinner, but a complete menu. there were 4 of us, and two were vegetarian, and all loved our food. every night there is a series of specials and we have 2, which were excellent. also I am not a big fan of Indian bread in the rule - but both full and rosmarin garlic were fabulous. a little confusion at the beginning who served us, but as soon as we rolled, everything was delicious. as good or better than anything in montclair or parsippany tries, and that says something.

Saturday night. Food was EXCELLENT but it took a long time to come out. It was worth the wait but the staff never came over to check on us while we were waiting- didn’t even make eye contact until I flagged them over after an hour without food. The place was packed. We had a reservation at 7 pm and sat down at the same time as 2 other equal sized parties which was probably the issue.

We were delighted to see an authentic Indian restaurant open in the West Essex Area. We were pleasantly surprised. I am not personally a huge fan of Indian food, but others in my party were happy with the food selections and quality. We will certainly try it again.

the food was average. I knew what I ordered and cost to others better. fresh orange juice was badly tasting. the host had no other, so I chose a koks. very expensive, a saffron chai was 10 mäuse. gastgeber was pleasant and friendly, but I won't be back. Reserve uma mesa agora

I had an amazing dining experience at Tashan! The establishment has had a major face lift from the previous regime. The food was authentic and I received superb service. Would definitely recommend to friends and family in the area

My first time ordering from them, and everything is so good. What really caught my eye was their lunch specials and their truffle oil goat cheese naan, YUM! Add this to my list of favorites. I'll definitely be back.

The food was mediocre. There was hardly any fish in the dish, and the curry had an unusual flavor. The naan bread was decent but a bit tough. The samosas were quite good and well-filled.

We used to order from here frequently, but the last three times the chicken makhani has had a sour taste, and the sauce has been very watery. I hope you can address this issue. Reserve uma mesa agora

The chicken special and veggie samosas were absolutely fantastic! I've ordered them multiple times, and they are consistently delicious every time.

Good food. Must try Samosa Chaat. They sent a free Paneer Dilbura which they had messed up last time, which was kind of them.
