The name of this restaurant perfectly captures its specialty: the shawarma here is by far the best I've ever had. I've sampled nearly everything on the menu, and while the chicken shawarma is fantastic, the beef shawarma truly stands out. They offer both shawarma sandwiches and plates. The sandwiches are loaded with well-balanced salads, toppings, and generous portions of meat, making them utterly delicious—simply amazing! These sandwiches have become a staple in my diet. I ordered two chicken shawarma combos and two mixed platters, but they had almost no meat—barely any at all. Luckily, we checked the order immediately. When we mentioned the poor quality and small portions, the staff just offered a tiny spoonful of extra meat without any apology or explanation for why the dishes were mostly rice and salad, especially after spending nearly $50. We will not be coming back to this restaurant. I would rate it 0 stars due to the lack of customer service, quality, and portion size.

Whenever I'm in the northeastern area of the Greater Toronto Area, I always choose Tasty Shawarma for lunch. The food is exceptionally fresh, fairly priced, and there is a great variety on the menu. While there can be a slight wait at times, you can call ahead if you're pressed for time. They accept cash and debit, but surprisingly, they do not accept credit cards or tips, which is quite rare these days!

I reiterated my point about being a regular customer and insisted it was obvious they had forgotten to include it. Their response was dismissive, with the cashier saying, "Many people come here regularly like you," and then proceeded to lecture me about wanting free sauce without paying for it. This restaurant consistently impresses me with its excellent quality, large portions, and outstanding customer service. I frequently request extra spice, and they are always willing to fulfill my request. To the owner, I recognize that prices have gone up, so I believe a small charge of 50 cents for extra spice is reasonable. Thank you!

The food at this restaurant is absolutely exceptional! You can indulge in two shawarma wraps for just $9.50, which is an incredible deal. The staff are always welcoming, and the service is quick. Every dish comes with a side of rice, salad, and their delightful special garlic and hot sauce, which really elevates the flavors!

The food at this restaurant is amazing, but the service is very slow. Every time I visit, I'm told there's a "20-30 minute wait." I've walked out multiple times, and I've seen others do the same, all due to the lengthy wait times. They definitely need to hire more staff!

The chicken shawarma plate was delicious, but I would have preferred a bigger portion of rice, especially since I requested less salad. The falafels were a bit dry, and there wasn't enough sauce to go with them. Overall, I still found the meal enjoyable.
