The Baker's Corner on Kenrose

I discovered this bakery on the day I visited Backstreet Espresso and made a promise to visit it the next morning. It wasn't as busy as the neighboring Espresso café, as I was the only customer when I entered the shop. While waiting for my order of a take-away flat white and beef pie, I could see the owner/father enjoying looking after his kids while running the business. It was heartwarming to see him balancing both roles. I found a seat outside the shop and began to enjoy my breakfast. I love a good bakery but they are hard to come by. The Baker's Corner is really good and I am so glad to have it as my local. They do lovely savoury breads and pastries, and the coffee is good and always served with a bonus cookie of some sort. I am always on the hunt for the best bakery pies but unfortunately these pies are just okay. My partner doesn't mind the occasional sausage roll from here though.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Carina that everyone knows about because of their amazing breads and pastries. The smell as you walk in is heavenly. We stopped by to pick up afternoon tea supplies and the service was fantastic. The staff was so patient as we struggled to make a decision. We will definitely be returning to support this local business.

We are locals who frequent this bakery the breads, bagels and sweeter goods are always exceptional quality. Vanilla slice highly recommended. Prices cheap given the quality.
