The Diner - Reservar mesa

What a fun and busy place. We asked to sit upstairs and they were very accommodating with it being busy. Our waitress was so fun and engaging. We was super busy but still took the time to tell us about the favourites at the restaurant. The decor is super cool with pop art and vintage looking signs all over. If you like music memorabilia you should check out this place. It’s everywhere! The menu comes in the form of a QR code you scan with your phone. The food was plentiful and above average. One comment I would make if the owner is reading these reviews is the breakfast poutine has too much hollandaise sauce 1/2 the amount with a bit more cheese would have been perfect. Excellent home style food served plentiful and hot. Great service. Really cool and entertaining decor. A huge patio awaits those who prefer summer outdoor dining… but if you prefer indoors, they have 2 levels of booths and tables to accommodate either small or large parties, as well those who’d like tête à tête! Bring your appetite as portions are delicious and large. Try and save room for one of their famous sundaes. Try one of their famous milk shakes too…Parking: Plenty of parking on Wellington or surrounding streets!

Had a very pleasant dining experience at this place. The server was very accommodating and incredibly friendly. The food was also tasty and arrived promptly. We sat outside, so I can't comment on the indoor location, but I can tell that the outdoor ambiance was very much welcoming and well curated.Prices were absolutely fair given the quantity of food per plate.Considering this was my first time eating here, I'd greatly recommend this diner.

this place is really good! seems like it's always a quieter diner (which i prefer , good seating selection (patio and inside , good servers that are friendly, AMAZING mac cheese (get this if you're unsure what to get!! , and i love the decor of the place!ignore the negative reviewers, it's about how they feel towards the owner, rather than what a review is supposed to actually be about, which is the actual service food provided. The food was good but the prices are on the expensive end for a dinner. For a example a small glass of fruit smoothie (frozen fruits)was $9.00. The atmosphere was relax service was good. Is it worth a try? Yes because the food is good but not good enough for me to drive 27km to get a burger that I can get anywhere else.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp on the for entrance

Really good portion for the price. I got the steak frites which came with a salad and I also got a milkshake. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking and was seasoned wellThe fries were soft but tasty and well cooked. The milkshake was delicious and was basically like drinking icecream. Overall very filling, quick service, and great food.

Their breakfasts are excellent and the atmosphere is very nice. I do find the service to be a bit slow and the prices are higher than I would like. I don't mind eating here once in awhile if I'm in the area but there are cheaper, faster diners closer to where I live that have great breakfasts.

I’ve been to the Wellington Diner a few times. The food is tasty, the service is great, and the location/atmosphere is relaxed. I really like that they are flexible with their menu. Great spot for quick food in a diner setting. Tons of 80s new wave music, eggs dishes, and milkshake options. Often busy!
