I have to say, this place is near perfect. The location is gorgeous, situated in a charming Welsh village. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but there is a designated car park nearby. The interior is cozy and the locals are very friendly. The staff is excellent and made us feel right at home. Despite being busy, the service was quick. The food was delicious, especially the chilli burger with homemade chips, which was a great deal at £14.95. We had two starters, two mains, and three drinks for just £45. We came for food 4 of us) and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Maria owner) was lovely and chatty. Her husband is the chef, and we saw him chatting with people too. Their son was behind the bar and was so helpful with choosing the wine, which was a melbec and equally lovely. The food was huge and by far, the best pub food we have ever had and we are all in our late 40's to early 50's, so we've eaten out a lot. I can't recommend this amazing place more. You MUST try and we are already planning a trip back there.

We came for the first time as it was recommended, and it didn’t disappoint. The place itself is so quirky and there’s so much to look at! We got a drink and food menus at the bar, and sat next to a log burner on big comfy seats. The waitress brought over some extra logs incase we needed them. We ordered and the food was great I’d highly recommend the chicken in the basket. We finished by sharing THE BEST STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING I’d ever had would definitely return

This country pub is absolutely stunning. The staff were incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was delightful, with a mix of quirky interiors and classic pub vibes. And the food was outstanding! My partner and I both enjoyed the beef chilli burgers, and the local lager (Purple Moose) was delicious. 10/10 rating from us! Reserve uma mesa agora

We spent a weekend in this town and every evening in this pub, it checks all the boxes I highly recommend. Amazing staff, great live music, plays the rugby, super friendly group of locals, delicious buttermilk chicken thigh burger, 10/10 Guinness
