great restaurant. everything our party was ordered by four was delicious and beautiful. we recommend the cream of the veg soup, the squid, and the sticky turbid. the workers were all lovely, and tina even spoke to us and recommended to keep a few places for our trip. we hope to eat there again during our week stay near. it is small and we have luck when we come in a night that was not busy, so a reservation would serve them well if it is a busy night. (I love the decor too!
broken squid over boiled and it was so good that I had to cut off the outer edges to get to the fish, I think it could come out of a box. the meal was served on a leaf paper on a wooden board. if I wished fish and chips from a paper, I would have recommended the chippy the vault if they were considered to be the best, I can only say that there is not much in the type of competition.
We had a meal at the vault that we both enjoyed. Starters were nice and the steak pie and the cajun chicken are one of the nicest we have had in a long while. The restaurant has nice decor and the staff were pleasant. Cost wise I have no complaints. If the weather is nice there is opportunity to enjoy the beer garden if you get a chance.
