The Warehouse - Reservar uma mesa

Wonderful Cajun place with a focus on seafood. Good location right on the waterfront. The fried catfish, shrimp, and calamari are great. Good selection of wine, cocktails, and deserts. They have a good brunch menu on the weekend. Large portions and reasonable prices for the location and quality. I do wish it was spicier, as I would expect from a Cajun place, but I do understand the dc taste prefers blander food. Will definitely come back. Parking: If you have to drive, you can park at the parking garage near city hall. Generally public transit or some other option is better near the waterfront.

ROACHES!!! If I could I would give zero! We went to the restaurant tonight for my husband 's birthday. The food was good. During our dinner we saw ROACHES walking on the wall behind us. We called the manager immediately and showed him where the ROACHES were. He didnt seem to care and asked the server to give us a free desert. We could not eat desert or anything else there. They charged us the full bill even though we had to leave the restaurant because of the roaches. We paid the check and 20% tip and left. Never again!!! I have pictures of the ROACHES.

Large group near where we were seated was so loud and raucous that dinner conversation was impossible. The staff were apologetic and accommodating and moved us after about 20 minutes. The crab cake Caesar salad was largely forgettable

The food was amazing, steaks and crabcake cooked to perfection. The waiter seemed to have a little bit of a hard time understanding me, but got my order down. The creme brulee was different, not the typical, but was so good!

Fantastic experience at The Warehouse. Food and service were remarkable. Thuba was gregarious and made the evening memorable for all. Will definitely return when back in Alexandria.
