Thirsty Judge Restaurant

First be advised that this pub only opens at 4pm so it is a supper venue. The style is traditional British with a small bar area and both bench and table seating. The mahogany decor makes it generally dark, but the walls are filled with neat memorabilia. We ordered chicken pot pie and beef filled Yorkshire pudding. Along with the food we had a beer and cocktail. The pot pie came with fries and was excellent with a good flakey crust and plenty of chicken. The Yorkshire had no side and was small. It was more of an appetizer than a main course. Although the taste was good it was far from enough. The cost of the meal came to $43. Not a bad experience in a quiet and comfortable environment.

Have enjoyed this place on evening solo visits after work - friendly staff, good sports bar with screens, and, until recently, very good food. Not so much with the new, reduced menu. Most recent visit had the veal parm sandwich with fries - disappointing, as in bland and boring. Have had better at Boston Pizza. Also, the regulars act like they own the place, and the owners might want to reconsider who they want to encourage patronizing their bar. To be fair, same problem, occasionally, across the street at the Old Station, but not so much. General decline of society thing, maybe, but I digress. Tough business, hospitality, wish them all well!

I visited this pub for the first time on a hot July day. The bartender/waiter was extremely friendly, polite, and welcoming. He recommended the new menu and suggested trying the new burger and fish and chips. We followed his recommendation and my husband said it was one of the best burgers he has ever had. I mentioned to our waiter that I am originally from the east coast and that the fish and chips was one of the best I have ever had. He was happy to share information about the new menu and recent improvements. I highly recommend stopping by to try their new menu and experience the friendly atmosphere.

Went here for dinner on Canada Day. I had the chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had the burger. The food was delicious! And it was so hot we had to wait a few minutes before eating. I've never had that happen before! Would definitely come back again. Reserve uma mesa agora

My family and I attended the Fire and Ice festival in Bracebridge, and we were disappointed to be asked to leave the restaurant because our party included three children. It was only 2 in the afternoon and it put a damper on our experience.

I made the mistake one day to try this pub for a lunch meal and a beer. Not a good choice. The service was very slow (not caring to give you a menu) and the food was not what you would want to repeat. The beer was beer.

Stopped in for a drink and decided to stay for what I did t know would be the best HAMBERGER EVER! Staff was friendly service as over the top! And we would definitely come back! A very please tell experience

Chef came out to say hello. She did a good job with the food. Nice pubby atmosphere, but needs more on the walls. Brand new and very clean. Reserve uma mesa agora

Horrible service, wouldn't recommend it. Didn't get a chance to try the food but the customer service was below satisfactory. To bad.

Great service, very good food! Dropped in for a drink, decided to have lunch, we were not disappointed.
