Urban Plates In Irv

I love Urban Plates usually go to the one off jamboree. Decided to stop by the one off Barranca since it was on the way. And ordered the Grass Fed Steak Sandwich and braised chicken bowl. When we got home and took the first bite of the sandwich it was like chewing rubber. The steak was extremely undercooked and very chewy. Called back to let them know but could get through to anyone. Dialed 3 times within a 20 min window but no one answered. It was not busy at all to think they were tied up. What was interesting was there were small pieces of steak that were burnt (you can see char on one of the pics)

I ordered salmon and it didn’t have any seasoning and didn’t smelled good. Beet salad was good and it just had 2 very small amounts of goat cheese I asked for goat cheese). The cheese burger was medium raw at the register when the lady took the order didn’t asked how you want your burger wants to be cooked) . The drinks were very good. And we also ordered the Portobello sandwich The chips were very stale and the sandwich had a sauce that tasted rotten. Thank goodness there was seasoning available on the side of the restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the customer service was outstanding. A special thanks to Maria for her patience and for not rushing us making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Maria was very helpful even during a clear lunch rush and was able to help us order quickly! Very kind and made us feel welcomed as well

Have been going here for years. Food is great. Met Sabrina for the first time today and she was polite and kind.
