Vero Bistro Moderne

Somebody took a birthday dinner here! It was absolutely beautiful. We came a little early for our reservation and could get a table right away. Since we were not super hungry, we split a salad, the lobster bisque and the lamb cabobs. Everything was absolutely horrific. And we're planning our next eve for more lambs. The meal was very fast to come to our table, which was slightly frustrating because our kabobs were cold while we tried the rest of the food. We also have many different drinks to taste, I recommend the Amaretto acid. It was perfect. It's a bit expensive, but I'd say it's worth every cent

Recently dined at Vero Bistro and cannot wait to return. From the moment I went to the door, I was greeted with such a friendly service that continued all night. When I was from the east coast I was very missing seafood and was very excited to try the seafood plate. Each piece of seafood was so fresh and cooked for perfection. Also the sweet potato Gnocchi it was so good I could not stop eating to take a picture Chef Jenny himself came on our table to have a chat which was so appreciated. 10/10 recommend thank you. Chef Jenny and everyone at Vero for such a wonderful evening

High quality food and service. The ambience consists of damped lighting, moderate and pleasant background music. I feel that the bathroom lighting could be lightened a little, but that did not distract from another excellent culinary experience. Vero is one of the few restaurants in Calgary with consistently high quality food and service. Our server was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. 10/10 would come back... excellent place for a romantic date night dinner.

Our first visit here! Started with a beginner biscuit, it looked and tasted too nice for me. we order the 2 persons meal, and got special salad this summer. It was the best salad I had all my life!! And we ended up with lamb, lobster pasta and steak! It was delicious except that I don't like lamb. After we finished, we could take it home. Your atmosphere was really nice to go for a date!!

We followed the advice of fellow reviewers and got the steak and frites and it was amazing!! So tender and flavourful. We also had the sweet potato gnocchi which was also good.
