shaddai gets 5 stars, waffel house gets 1. shaddai was the only of 4 people who work when we came around 1. he waited for 5 tables and then cooked for all five tables. did we get the best service? No, because he obviously had to do 3 jobs. but eating was good and I am glad that he was my server/kitchen over the other 4 people who tried to do nothing. john the manager did his best to keep his head and not be asked by the customers, inventory is not so hard john. edronie? greeted us with an aggressive y 'all can sit on the high top or wait until I have the tables she seemed to want her priority. the other 2 women there did that, slowly clean to look busy thing.
Traveling from MD and made a stop here on our way back. I was almost sure the bathroom were dirty and stinky, but they were not surprisingly. Cleanest Waffle House bathroom I ever been to. Orders were taken and the food came out quick and easy. Hash browns were made hot and crispy, just how I like them. It was only two workers working hard to get all the orders done. A couple more customers came in to dine in and to order to-go after our party of 7 but our food came out fairly fast. Enjoy my time here!
I was here today and the service was terrible. I wait 40 minutes on a whole star breakfast and was completely overlooked. Then cashier says you're just waiting for your waffle. The food was cold then. Who pays for cold food. Go differently where and spend your money and actually get hot good food. There is a Denny's and Dunkin Donuts I recommend going to everyone and avoiding this place at all costs.
