Wellington's is a beloved local restaurant in Parry Sound, adorned with historic photographs that celebrate the area's rich history. The venue has a medium-sized, pub-like atmosphere, making it a cozy spot to enjoy a meal. Our server was excellent—friendly and efficient, enhancing our dining experience. The menu offers a wide variety of options beyond typical pub fare. We tried the pan-fried whitefish, which was exceptional, served with a delicious lemon dill sauce. We also opted for a double serving of vegetables, which were beautifully sautéed and bursting with freshness. The schnitzels are among the most popular items on the menu; we ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel, and it did not disappoint...

Glad to find this place while we traveled to the area. Price is much better than those along the bay (though without a view, a trade off I don't mind). Service is friendly and overall food quality is good. Their menu is rather broad, dishes from schnitzel to stir fry to jerk chicken penne to escargot to liver onion to lasagna. For such varieties there is surprisingly few misses, most dishes are done good enough. There are pub staples too, such as several types of fish and chips, meat loaf, salad, ribs and wings. A few vegetarian options available too, looks like they really try to please everybody in the group. We had the Friday fish fry for $9.99, but I would recommend paying a few dollars...

The food was adequate. It was very busy for a Sunday evening. The waitress was uncharacteristically nice. The wait time for the food could have been better, we waited roughly an hour for our food. Also the chef forgot my good friend's sauté mushrooms for her steak. We had to ask to get refills for our beverages which were water. The vibe of the restaurant was patterns, the lighting could improve; it really brought out the darkness within my heart, and the food is slightly pricey. I would not come back sadly. P.S. adding chicken to your quesadilla for $6 will be a mistake every time. Every. Time. P.P.S. The nachos were sad. The chips were stale circles and kinda burnt, hard cheese on nachos i...

Decent pub fare here with a fairly large menu. Received 2 menus when seated one for the general menu and one for the specials. Chose the deep fried pickerel special with fries and coleslaw. Was advised that they didn't have any of the pickerel for the special at 15.99 but that I could have it pan fried for almost twice the price at $26.99. What's the deal with that? Either you have pickerel or you don't. So switched my order to the halibut fish and chips $18.99). The fish and the chips were well prepared and all was good but would have liked some fresh Georgian Bay Pickerel. At nearly $30.00 for fish and chips and a beer, the meal wasn't a great value. The food here is quite typical for a pub. The service is really friendly, contributing to a nice small-town atmosphere. I was in Parry Sound for work over a couple of weeks and visited this place several times. I often had the same server, who was very chatty and made me feel right at home. The food is pretty good overall. While some items are somewhat pricey, especially for lunch, the portions are generous, and they offer half orders for many dishes. They also have daily specials to keep things interesting. My only concern is that sometimes the food arrives at different times for people at the same table, which can be a bit odd.

This restaurant is often recommended as a great spot to eat in Parry Sound, but I would suggest skipping it. Last month, I had a pasta dish with chicken that tasted off. It felt as if the chicken had been around for a while—perhaps it was aged and left out in the sink for a day or two before being cooked. Additionally, I requested water for our table, but they only brought one glass. I should mention that I wasn’t dining alone, so that didn't make much sense!

Beautiful vintage decor!!! Quiet for a Saturday night. Beers on tap, fresh fish and delicious BBQ ribs!!! Friendly service and a nice place to unwind for the weekend if you are not looking for something crowded. Also I visited in November so not sure if it gets busier over the summer but will definitely go back :

I've been disappointed with this restaurant each time I have tired it, and I have tried it three times. Its typical pub food but I find it very bland and unexciting. Last time I went was about a year ago and things may have changed. Reserve uma mesa agora

I wouldn't order the wings again. Super small and a puddle of watered down hot sauce in bottom of plastic basket. The Kilkenny was good.
