Wookies - Reservar uma mesa

Popped in to get a take away panini. Lady behind the counter wasnt welcoming at all, didnt say hi and just seemed to be really stressed despite the one couple sat in there. Ordered food to go, there was a slightly long wait. When we...got the food it was wrapped loosely in a napkin. Good job we are local as this was weird and not very convenient. Would've like a paper bag maybe. Got this items home and for a panini mine wasn't toasted that thoroughly..asked for a tuna melt and my cheese wasnt even melted. Scarce amount of tuna that hadn't been mixed with mayo. All round really disappointing, maybe better to sit in?

We visited this cafe on a Monday afternoon and were welcomed by a friendly lady. The cafe was spotlessly clean and bright. My husband enjoyed tea and a brownie, while I had coffee and their popular peanut stack cake. The prices were very reasonable. There was a great selection of cafe food on the menu and we plan to return for brunch. We were staying at the nearby Greendale caravan site and Wookies was recommended to us - we were very happy with our first visit.

I visited Wookies in Whissendine today and I must say, the hospitality was outstanding. It is a family-run business that is very professional with amazing menus and a superb specials board. They also offer fresh cakes and gluten-free options. I highly recommend this place to anyone and would go back tomorrow. - Stuart

We enjoyed a delicious cup of tea and a delightful slice of carrot cake. Although we chose to sit outside on this lovely afternoon, there is also seating available inside, which appears to be immaculately clean.

Called at Wookiee’s after we had been on a walk around the area,ordered drinks and sat outside,drinks came very quickly,excellent service and staff were excellent. Well worth a visit.
