Zaki Indian Grill - Reservar uma mesa

During our visit to Hadrian's Wall in Haltwhistle, we came across this restaurant on Google Maps and decided to give it a try based on the good ratings. However, we were disappointed with the atmosphere and cleanliness. The carpets were dirty and there were cobwebs on the ceiling in the reception area, which completely ruined our mood. The toilets were also sticky and unpleasant. The food was bland, especially the curries. The service was decent as the staff were polite and smiling. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant due to the poor cleanliness and lackluster food, giving it only 2 stars for the friendly service.

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time tonight since it was taken over from Zaki, and I was very disappointed. The food was served cold, with the chips still frozen. Despite living only 2 minutes away, I had to reheat everything. The duck bhuna was bland and diluted, with the plate swimming in water. The chicken tikka masalla was also watered down and the chicken was dry. It seemed like the food had been made months ago, frozen, and then reheated partially. I would not recommend this restaurant. I feel like I wasted £30.

Food is great!! I ordered madras curry and it was one of the best ive tasted, the service was also top notch, will be coming back again, thank you!
