The owner and staff of this restaurant were generous enough to invite Ukrainian families who came after riding in Winkl and the next villages from Ukraine for war as refugees. They were so friendly to offer their beautiful and one of the best in the region restaurant for the whole evening to cook the special menu with some traditional Ukrainian and German dishes, brilliant Bavarian wine and amazing Bavarian beer, delicious deserts and even more important warm words of support and sincere smile! And all this is absolutely free! Thank you. You are great and very nice people! God bless you!

Dit restaurant ligt 100 meter van ons gasthaus. Daarom twee avonden hier gegeten. De kaart is beperkt maar er staan genoeg streekgerechten op. De bediening is vlot en het eten is van goede kwaliteit. Vooral de forel is mooi bereid. De schnitzel is prima geportioneerd en van goede kwaliteit. De Hongaarse goulash was lekker maar had gerust wat meer mogen zijn. Zeker gezien de prijs.Dit typisch Bayrische restaurant is aan te bevelen.

Eine wirklich urige Einrichtung, wo man sich wohlfühlt. Die Speisekarte ist sehr übersichtlich, die Speisen - na ja.... Es wird recht wenig auf den großen Teller gegeben, als dass es aussehen soll wie in einem Sternerestaurant. In Wirklichkeit ist es zu wenig für das Geld.

The food is good, but the service is bad. As so often in Reit im Winkl, no credit cards are accepted here. As a foreigner, I'm not prepared. I will advise friends not to spend their vacation here.

Wirtshaus ist innen schön bayrisch. Speisekarte ist sehr überschaubar ebenfalls die Speisen, Eine normale Portion gleicht einem Kinderteller, aber nichtmal schmackhaft.
