First time in Ottawa this week, and actually got recommended this restaurant from a random stranger at the airport, so we definitely had to give this place a try.Was very excited to try their baos, seeing that was what they are known for but unfortunately that is only served in their evening menu.Decided to give their day time menu a try, and honestly my expectations were blown away!Unfortunately we had to order take out, and eat at our hotel, but the food was still phenomenal!Before diving into the food, service was amazing. These bao are GIGANTIC and delicious! The meat is sweet and juicy, and the pickled cucumbers or daikon on top really help to add freshness and cut through the fat. The Hong Kong milk tea is perfect, not too sweet and perfect with the golden mantou. The mantou have a different flavour and texture from regular mantou but are still excellent dipped in the sweetened condensed milk. Nice selection of cocktails and beer as well. The staff are so lovely and attentive even though it was super busy when we went!

Funky and relaxing vibe. The service is good and thoughtful. There was only 3 gluten free options on the menu… none were bao. I ended up getting the sweet and sour tofu with rice. My fiancé got the the steak bao. Both we’re good but left us wanting more. Overall we had a good experience but believe it could have been better if there were more gluten free options and if they had bigger portions or some kind of side with their dishes.

I had a soda and a sweet bun. The soda was delicious, perfect ratio of Mandarin syrup-sparking water, perfect quantity of ice. I 'll return for more.Regarding the 6 dollar bun, I asked it to be warmed up, the answer was no , so I had it cold. This was so flavourful, like even looking at it now is making me crave it. It was juicy and warm and in good portion. The service was really nice too, I went there almost in closing time so it was kinda embarrassing but they were really niceVegetarian options: Vegan bao

Ordered takeout and dined in many times. Been going since their soft opening and they have NEVER disappointed. Food is obviously awesome but the service and ambience is what makes it extra special. Pictured below is the New Years Eve feast that was ?!!!!

Cozy place on the corner of the bank street, food is really special and worth to try out. Service is good and just need to take a little bit time to find a parking place lol. Their pork belly is really impressive me and worth to try.

It was a pretty good bao overall. The price is definitely steep and it’s unfortunate that they make you must purchase 2 baos of the same kind. I prefer having the option to mix and match if I’m paying $20 for 2 baos. Reserve uma mesa agora

Wow! First visit here and it didn’t disappoint! Ordered the Braised Brisket Bao, Fried Chicken Bao, Toban Slaw, and Broken Rice.Delicious! Enjoyable! Wonderful experience. The service was super friendly and funny!

We really enjoyed our dinner! We try the omni Bao and the fried chicken one, and we were NOT disappointed!!!! Both were really different but also very tasty!
