Ribs were highly recommended by friends. They were graded OK from my perspective. I like my ribs kind of crispy bbq. The sides of greens and baked beans were excellent. I appreciate the military sacrifices as a civilian patronizing this business. If you are in or around one of there businesses give them I try. The key to savoring delicious BBQ at this place is to opt for the moist choice when they ask if you prefer it lean or moist. Honestly, who wouldn't choose moist? Picking the moist option ensures you get a juicy, flavorful sandwich that isn't overly greasy. The sides are also worth mentioning; I especially love the mac and cheese and baked beans. I've been back twice since discovering the moist option!

The food is decent, but it would be great if the restaurant could honor teachers, community activists, or social workers as part of its group of heroes. We visited at 8 PM on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant not crowded. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. The food was excellent as well, making our experience a perfect 5 stars all around! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
