The Grateful Table

Wow! I can honestly say that this has been one of the best Greek dining experiences I’ve had in years! I visit Castlegar regularly, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try the food—it absolutely did not disappoint! I travel from the lower mainland, and this restaurant is one of my first stops when I arrive in Castlegar. I feel like I’ve nearly tried everything on the menu and hope to keep coming back for many more years! The warm atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel like part of their family. I love you, Grateful Table!

I absolutely love The Grateful Table. I love that its family owned and operated by real people who actually care about our community and go out of their way to contribute in such a positive way to our community's way of life. Not only that but the food is absolutely amazing. Its always a win when our family gets The Grateful Table for dinner. I also appreciate how clean their space is. Thank you Grateful Table!!!! Our community is better because we have you!

During our visit to Castlegar, our friends introduced us to this wonderful restaurant. We were seated in a spacious area where the kids could play while we enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious! The signature drink was incredibly refreshing, and the Greek salad and wrap were truly authentic, fresh, and flavorful—absolutely delicious! The owner, George, was a friendly and gracious host. We had a delightful experience dining at The Grateful Table.

The perfect place to eat with Family and Friends. There is something on the menu for everyone! The service we received was amazing! Friendly and always so “grateful” that you stopped in. And the food… was soooo good! I highly recommend the pizzas (best in town) as well as the calamari (my grandmother’s favorite) the rice bowl as well as the chicken souvlaki. My son said he had the best pizza of his life, which is impressive considering how picky he is about food. As someone who loves Greek cuisine, I always seek out Greek restaurants during my travels. Grateful Table offers the juiciest and most flavorful gyros I’ve ever tasted. You can also expect excellent, prompt service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere at Grateful Table.

Stopped by for lunch to indulge in some savoury gyros and greek salad. Authentic greek flavour, speedy service to back it up, and a lovely patio to enjoy it all at. Dressings were so tasty, the pita wrap was the best I ever had, plus there are some local drinks you have to try! We were even lucky enough to meet the first owner Peter upon our visit. Great family business!

Great family owned business in the heart of downtown Castlegar, with a perfect summer patio for people watching! Always great service, so accommodating for dietary preferences and the food is sooooo delicious. Also love this place for private events, in their beautiful banquet room or catering for off-site!! ?Food: 5/5

I love this restaurant. The place itself it warm, cozy and very inviting. The Greek food is amazing. Best gyros I've had and seriously the best handmade pizza in town. Staff are very helpful and I love the specials they put on.Food: 5/5

All the food was really delicious and freshly made. You will keep coming back for sure. It's a really great experience and nice ambiance.
