Celebrated my birthday with dinner at The Rex. It was lovely. The staff signed a birthday card for me and I had a delicious meal of steak tartare, filet, brussel sprouts and good wine. My desert was complimentary and was absolutely delicious…the Sundae made with hazelnut soft serve. Wow. The service was excellent even though it was quite busy. Overall wonderful experience.

the reservations were at 5:45 a.m., which was not too late at all, but we could still get a long time in service. a 12oz ny steak that was too salty. Wife liked the 8oz filet mignon with the Saving Angel. the ambiente was good, not too loud or loud.
